Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Karimizhi (www.karimizhi.in, “we”, “us”) collects when you read stories on our website, how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using this website you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us (for example to submit a story, report a problem or request removal of content), we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to handle your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and the services we use automatically record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This helps us keep the site secure, fix errors and understand which stories readers enjoy.

We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, sensitive personal information such as financial details, government ID numbers or health information.

2. Cookies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (small files stored on your device) to run the site, remember preferences, measure traffic and show advertising. Please read our Cookie Policy for details and for how to control cookies.

3. Advertising

Karimizhi is free to read and is supported by advertising. We work with the following third-party advertising partners:

  • Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses cookies in advertising. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • Taboola. Taboola shows recommended content and sponsored links (for example below stories). Taboola may use cookies and device identifiers to personalise these recommendations. See the Taboola Privacy Policy, where you can also opt out of Taboola’s personalised recommendations.

These partners collect information directly from your browser under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share the contents of your emails with advertisers.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which stories are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data in aggregated form. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain and improve the website and its stories.
  • To respond to emails, story submissions, complaints and removal requests.
  • To measure traffic and understand what readers like.
  • To show advertising that keeps the website free.
  • To protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats, and to comply with the law.

6. Sharing of information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site (such as our web host, caching and security services, analytics and advertising partners listed above), or when required by law, court order or a government authority in India.

7. Data retention

Emails and requests are kept only as long as needed to handle them and for our records. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the settings and policies of Google and Taboola.

8. Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalised ads using the links above, and ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have sent us by writing to mail@admarq.in. We respond to such requests within a reasonable time, as required by applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Children

This website is intended for general and adult readers. Some stories deal with mature themes such as relationships and family conflict. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

Stories, ads and recommendations may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.
